RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Tax & Compliance (Primary Responsibility)
a. Responsible for preparation and coordination of local tax calculations and filings, including VAT, CIT, payroll-related taxes and other statutory declarations.
b. Coordinate with external tax advisors and local tax authorities on tax filings, clarifications, audits and inspections.
c. Identify potential tax risks, prepare analysis and propose corrective or preventive actions to management.
d. Maintain complete and compliant tax documentation in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
e. Execute tax-related payments in accordance with company approval and authorization policies.
2. Cash Management & Urgent Financial Matters
a. Handle local banking operations, payment execution and urgent fund transfers subject to approved authorization limits.
b. Support local cash flow monitoring and provide timely information to Finance Manager and headquarters finance team.
c. Coordinate with headquarters finance team on urgent financial, tax or compliance-related matters.
3. Fixed Assets & On-site Financial Control
a. Responsible for on-site fixed asset physical control, including asset registration, movement tracking and physical management.
b. Coordinate periodic fixed asset physical counts and reconcile physical assets with accounting records maintained by headquarters.
c. Provide accurate fixed asset information and supporting schedules to headquarters accounting team.
4. Inventory & On-site Stock Control
a. Responsible for on-site inventory control, including monitoring inventory movement, storage status and physical existence.
b. Coordinate periodic inventory counts, cycle counts and ad-hoc stock checks with warehouse and operations teams.
c. Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
d. Provide timely inventory information and variance explanations to headquarters accounting and finance teams.
e. Support inventory-related audits, tax inspections and internal reviews.
5. Accounting Coordination & General Finance Support
a. Coordinate with headquarters accounting team on bookkeeping, reporting and reconciliation matters.
b. Support monthly closing, audit preparation, tax reviews and internal inspections as required.
c. Handle financial and compliance matters that require local on-site presence.
d. Other tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of accounting or tax-related experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong hands-on experience in taxation and local compliance is required.
4. Experience with ERP systems such as AX, Oracle, SAP, etc.
5. Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
6. Familiar with accounting standards and accounting and tax-related laws and regulations.
